Sharing language diversity, culture & communal experience

Our language approach: We focus on the practical use of the Arabic language for today’s world. Through our holistic approach to language learning, we integrate communication skills with cultural elements to expose learners to the rich tradition of Arab language and culture. A key feature of our strategy involves teachers and learners sharing and exchanging their experiences of Arabic with one another. As such, Sharek’s language courses revolve around shared and complementary learning, putting the learner and the way they experience the Arabic language—in and outside the classroom—at the centre of our process. We also place a lot of emphasis on the practical results of learning; conversation is but a starting point in enjoying the language and understanding the diverse culture from which it originates.

Our language courses: We offer Arabic language courses and programmes for all levels and all types of learners to encourage spoken and written skills that are relevant to the twenty-first century. As the UK’s sole provider of a range of contemporary Arabic courses for all levels of proficiency, Sharek Centre offers programmes for students, teachers and professionals in a range of industries. Understanding the importance of the practical use of language, we provide a comprehensive and immersive method of learning by shared experience. Offering courses and programmes in face-to-face, virtual and mixed contexts, as well as the choice of day, evening or Saturday classes, learners are able to choose the curriculum that best suits their needs and schedules.
