Rafa Rejeibi earned her Master’s degree in the field of Applied Linguistics specializing in communicative language teaching and learning.
Rafa worked as a lecturer at the University of Tripoli, Libya, where her work focused on promoting autonomous language learning. She is an alumna of the U.S. State Department Fulbright scholarship under the Foreign Language Teaching Assistant (FLTA) program. As a Fulbright scholar, she taught Arabic Language and Culture to American University students at the College of Saint Rose in New York. When in Libya, she was selected by the European Training Foundation (ETF) to represent the Young Mediterranean Leaders initiative for the Southern Mediterranean countries.
Rafa is the latest addition to the Sharek Centre team. She is currently finishing her PhD at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) in audio-visual translation.
